For those of you just getting acquainted with us, we are two guys, long term friends who have been playing music together for over six years.
Jamie and I met in a philosophy class at USF and after a conversation during a break about a shared love of fugazi and guitars we knew that we would be collaborating musically.
The Trophy Fire came about when Talking House records approached us about signing with the label. At that point, The Trophy Fiire didn't really exist. Jamie and just had a lot of songs that had never manifested in our previous band and we were yearning for a vessel to write and record.
The result of this proccess is a record we are very proud of.
It's called "A Lifetime in the Middle of the Ocean" and will be released on august 12th.
